Overview

The UOWC Analysis Tool is a professional Monte Carlo simulation platform developed for underwater optical wireless communication (UOWC) system design and research. Built entirely in Python with a modern desktop GUI, it evaluates link performance under realistic underwater conditions by modelling Beer-Lambert attenuation, optical turbulence fading, pointing errors, angle-of-arrival fluctuations, and complete link budget effects.

The tool delivers four integrated analysis modules — Average BER, Ergodic Capacity, Outage Probability, and Link Budget — covering the full spectrum of UOWC performance evaluation for academic research and engineering system design.

Note: This software is delivered as a standalone Windows .exe installer. No any external runtime is required - the tool runs entirely on Python.
